Yes, technology is a wonderful thing but when you are stuck somewhere and don't know how to proceed, it is rather frustrating. Indeed, I've been trying to access the class WIKI for about ten hours without success but I don't despair; I'll try again until I can open the door to this class which is so promising. But even if I cannot share my URL yet -and I guess nobody has seen what I have posted yet- I was positively surprised to see that I was allowed to comment on the others' blogs.Despite this slight inconvenience, I still believe that blogging is one of the best tools I can use with my students and I will definitely open a class blog for them to share their pieces of writing pertaining to their reactions to a topic studied in class, for example; this way, they can benefit from the feedback of a larger audience and thereby be more motivated to write. I can also ask them to have their own and I think we can use it as a writing portfolio. I feel certain that they will love it.

DeleteHi Colomba!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that you haven't been able to enter the wiki, have you already contacted Robert to tell him about it?
Anyway, it seems that somebody posted your wiki for you, because I got the link from there :)
Keep on working!!
Greetings, Diana
Hello Colomba,
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to read your words. Do not think that you are the only one who suffers here. For me everything is new as well. I also spent two hours on opening my blog. Even to give it a name caused me a huge problem. And I let you know that I could not solve certain task without others' help. But that's we are here. Just don't give up, and feel free to ask me. If I can, I will help you.
Keep going,
Csilla
Thank you for your concerns, Diana and Csilla. Yes, Robert helped me access the class WIKI and I was able to share my URL last night (I mean Antananarivo time). But luckily, I was able to access your blogs and visited each of you by using the addresses you shared on Nicenet while waiting for the possibility to post mine. But now, I can say that 'All is well that ends well". I hope it is the same for all those who had the same problem as me.
ReplyDeleteKind regards,
Colomba
